Mental Health Social Worker II
Status: Open Posting: 025-01185Reporting to the Manager, the Mental Health Social Worker II will carry out their responsibilities as a member of a multi-disciplinary team offering clinical treatment to children/youth who are experiencing emotional/behavioral/social challenges and their families. This position involves working closely with the school boards, Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society, and other relevant community service providers. The Mental Health Social Worker II provides direct clinical services in the areas of individual, group, and family treatment, within the Outpatient Counselling and Therapy department or the Intensive Treatment Services program. The Mental Health Social Worker II is responsible for developing a family-focused treatment plan, providing service coordination, and consulting with school personnel and community providers as needed. The Mental Health Social Worker II is responsible for delivery of care consistent with the vision and values of the hospital and the standards of relevant professional organizations. They comply with the Occupational Health and Safety standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.

The interdisciplinary team of geriatric specialists work together to optimize the mental health of seniors living in the community. Responsible for participation in departmental, hospital and educational activities, which are supportive of professional and corporate objectives. This position will also help with potential coverage in all Outpatient & Inpatient General Rehab departments.
